I chose Mike because he offered an intensive course that was clearly described on his website and he was able to fit me into his busy schedule at a time that suited me.
I contacted Mike through his website initially but then spoke to him once he got in touch with me.
Learning with Mike was great. He was always clear about what we were going to cover in lessons. I was expecting the intensive course to be tough but the lessons had good length breaks and there was always a sense of progress as we covered new areas.
I liked the way Mike would talk through situations as we could see them coming up. Asking me what I thought the best course of action was or just mentioning potential hazards and what I thought about them in that situation. I found talking through these moments very useful in teaching me the best course of action. He was always calm and gave instructions and feedback in an easy to understand and constructive manner.
I would definitely recommend Mike to other people as he was a good teacher and very friendly.
