Are you a qualified instructor?

Yes. In order to conduct driving lessons on a professional basis, all instructors must be registered with the DVSA.

Some driving schools use ´PDI´s (potential driving instructors). These are registered instructors but who have not yet passed the final part of their instructors test. These will display a pink triangular sticker in the car window.

I am a fully qualified instructor and as such, display a green, hexagonal sticker in the car.

Will other pupils be in the car with me?

NO! Unlike many driving schools, all our lessons are conducted on a one to one basis and you will not be sharing your lessons with other pupils.

How many lessons will I need?

There are many factors that determine how many lessons you will end up needing. Age, gender, attitude, personality and the ability to practise when not in lessons all contribute.

Once you have had a few lessons, we will be better able to judge this for you.

According to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), you’ll need around 45 hours of professional lessons to pass your driving test. This is just an average figure – it’s important to remember that everyone’s different.

Do I get help from you to pass my theory test?

Yes! You´ll get FREE full access to the watch-learn-drive app on my website, an online simulation of the UK driving theory test. It contains the entire official test question database, hazard perception videos and more.

What lessons length do you offer?

Yes, I only conduct either 1.5 or 2 hour lessons. You learn more in that time frame, whereas an hour lesson is over before you know it.

To get the very best value from each lesson and maximise learning, I offer and HIGHLY RECOMMEND lessons of 1.5 or 2 hours duration, to help you progress more quickly, saving you time and money!

How will I know I´m ready to take my test?

You´ll have the opportunity to scale yourself on a progress card to help you keep track of your progress with learning to drive, and to encourage you to become skilled in all the important areas.

Once your standard of driving reaches a point where we BOTH feel you’re ready to take your test, you will undergo ´mock driving assessments´ to prepare you for the real driving test.
